Fomapan is no longer available in the US. Apparently, they ran into problems
with Kodak, so their film is no longer available here. I believe that it is
currently marketrf by Paterson (?) in the UK.
Fomapan 800 was a wonderful second-tier film. The quality was definitely
suspect, but it was fast and had increased (not extended) red sensitivity. I
found that shooting it with the Holga with a red acetate filter over the lens
gave me the exact results I was looking for with that camera. I'm down to my
last two rolls and will be sad to see them finally go.
