IR and Contax Aria

I read up on the Contax Aria in the First Looks section of this
month's Popular Photography magazine. Overall, it looks like a great
camera worth waiting for -- however, I have one major concern.
I plan on doing (a lot) of IR photography, using panchromatic type
IR and false color IR film (if I can get a hold of it.) However, the Aria
sports the "leave leader out" function to facilitate mid roll changing,
and uses an "optical" counter to count the film sprocket holes. Arrgghhh
- -- I think this means that this is an IR sensor which will fog the IR film
like the Canon Elan series!
Has anybody had experience with this camera? (I know it is early
and not really released yet...) Since the 167MT is down in price, I might
just go with it and forgo the evaluative metering, and deal with the 6
oz. weight difference. The 167MT is more metal construction and has a
mechanical advance, and I know many people that use it for IR photography.
Even if only the bottom edge of the picture is fogged with the Aria, I
will most likely not want this problem as I will be doing many
enlargements, etc.
	Other thoughts are appreciated... Thanks!
