Pin Holes In The Emulsion

Hi, All,
I continue to be plagued by pinholes in the emulsion of all my 4x5
HIE work.
This time, it was thus:
Tungsten lit, E.I. 125, red #25 filter.
5 min presoak in distilled water
11 min in D76 scrupulously maintained at 68 degrees.
Hand powered rotary agitation in a Jobo 2521 tank. Very gentle ag.
Stopped in Kodak indicator stop bath for 1 min.
Fixed in Kodak fixer (not Rapid) for 8 min.
All chemistry was stringently held to 68 degrees, except for the water
presoak at 75.
Every batch of 4x5 HIE has done this, including when I was using
a water stop and Rodinal 1-25.
The 35 mm work I've done has them too, but to a much lesser extent -
perhaps 10 or so per neg.
So - anyone have any ideas -especially anyone who had pinholes, changed
something and now doesn't have pinholes ?
HIE in 4x5 costs too much to let pinholes ruin the work.
I'm waiting to hear from Kodak on the issue, but not holding my breath while I
wait :-)
