Re: IR lightleak in darkroom
Hi all,
I've had several suggestions after I had posted my question:

A couple of reactions suggested I look at the camera. One person
mentioned he owned a metal body that is not IR proof.
The led light is a possible cause, but it's been there for years
without ever fogging a film. If it does IR film, it must be emitting
much more IR than visible light. I'll cover it.
In the IR mailing list I received two reactions from people that have
solved a similar problem by covering the wooden blinds and the door
with aluminum foil. I would never have though that the IR radiation of
the sun would shine through wood, but we are never too old to learn...
There is enough info here to suggest it could be anything from camera
to led and wood. I will run some experiments and let you know.
Thanks so far.
Michiel
