I use a no.87 Lee polyester gel in a copule of my cameras --
between the film rails of an OM-1, and well ahead of the film
plane inside an old Olympus 35S rangefinder. I got the Lee
filter from Freestyle Sales, www.freestylesalesco.com, which
sells a 4x4 inch square for $24.95. That's large enough to trim
an inch off each dimension to make a 3x3 square for my
traditional gel holder, leaving several inches of 1" wide filter
suitable for between the rails on a 35mm camera. They also have
the 3x3 inch for $13.95.
B&H Photo in New York has the Lees as well as traditional Kodak
Wratten gels, which come in various deeper-IR versions, not just
the no.87.
