Airline Inspections

I'm getting ready to make a big trip from Florida to Canada and some of
the recent increased airline inspections are concerning me. I've heard
that the inspections are now requiring removal of unexposed film from
the canister for visual inspection. Is this true? How can you protect
sensitive IR film?

I'm also carrying sheet film and fear I'll be asked to open those boxes
also. Am I paranoid?

With our recent terrrorist concerns in the U.S., it seems we now have
additional headaches while traveling with infrared film. Any advice
would be appreciated.
