Night- and available light photography using IR films

Does anybody on the list have experiences with IR photography under night-
and available light conditions or even pictures shown on a Website or knows
literature about this theme ?
Artificial light sources are partially strong IR emitters. So there are some
qustions for me:
- - which IR black & white film is the best (Kodak, Konica or even Ilford SFX
200)
- - which filters are the best under night and under available light
conditions.
- - does anybody have informations about exposure time, reciprocity factors
and the ISO /ASA
settings for the use under available light conditions
- - how are the effects on IR film from light sources like normal neon lights,
bulbs etc.
- - is it possible "to lighten" objects in the dark using strong IR emitting
light sources
Thanks for every information and greetings from Hamburg
