    Going from an 87A to 87 would be a big jump (if my info is correct).  87
is a 790 nm low pass filter, 87A is a 1050 nm low pass filter.  If you're
using Kodak HIE, its response starts fading after 900 nm.  The deeper you go
into IR (ie. longer wavelengths), the darker the sky gets, and the plant
tend to give a bit more glow.  I've heard the features on the surface of the
skin start fading away since the inner layer of skin reflects the longer
wavelengths of IR.
