I use Thumbs Plus as well. I don't use the automatic webpage or thumbnail
generation (I haven't even tried them, though perhaps I should try the
latter). I scan the images in Photoshop, then import then into Thumbs Plus
to make web-ready jpg's and thumbnails (I also adjust the gamma there,
since it seems closer to the way Netscape displays images, at least on my
computer - and when you save jpg's in it, it lets you see how much
degradation you're going to get with whatever level of compression you
choose).

For the html, I use PageMill 3.0. It's pretty nice.
