I have been using a bulk film which has been brought to me as a gift some
time around 1985. Since then I try to freeze it. Those times I was not to to
much aware of HIE. Maybe it is not HIE, but certainly infrered film. I keep
using it then. Two rolls of 30 exp. are left. It is little bit slow i.e.
with fresh HIE I use 250 ASA and with this film I use 160 ASA. Of course
some fogging, but nothing else. It may not be appropriate to say it in this
paragraph, but I had not taken the precaution saying load the camera in
total darkness into account. I should say that I have paid lots of penalty
while learning this property. This is true even in fresh original HIE
cartridge. It leaks.

Regards,

Ibrahim
