No you can't use the 90 degree prism by itself; the magazine sticks back
too far. If you have the non-metered prism or the AE-II prism you can
get a Multiscope viewfinder extension which allows you to do eye-level or
waist-level viewing by just rotating the end. They are incredibly useful
for the 70mm back but have to be found on the used marker and are not all
that plentiful.
