My new book on lith printing

As many of you have asked to be notified when my new book is coming out,
this seems a good time to announce it (with Willem's approval - I don't wish
to transgress NG regs.)

It is on Lith Printing, and this should be of special interest to all who
print from IR. negs ( B&W or colour negs.)

Lith printing has nothing to do with lith negs. It uses a technique of
heavily over-exposing the neg. onto a suitable paper and only partially
developing it in highly diluted lith developer. This produces very warm
coloured mid and light tones of great delicacy between white and black. It
prints soft in the highlights and hard in the shadows and is extremely
flexible allowing very personal interpretations.

It is superb for IR. as the delicacy of highlight tones so well complements
the highlights featured in IR. work and the marriage of the two can be
magical. It is also thoroughly addictive!

These prints also respond extraordinarily enthusiastically to selenium and
gold toners, so I warn you - you will get hooked.(You can tell I am!) I
print practically all my IR. this way now.

This is the only book on this lovely process as far as I know, and is called
'The Master Photographers Lith Printing Course'. It is very instructional
and illustrated with 160 colour plates. I can send a contents list and book
