Is my film screwed?

I have some Kodak IE (old color infrared) that I am getting ready to send off
to get developed.  I have had it in the frig since I shot it.
Without thinking (something I do often), I  opened the cansiter for a few
seconds.  I was under flourecent lights.  Is my film fogged?  Is it worth the
$19 for sending it off to get processed?  Also, does anyone know of a cheaper
place to get this film processed.  HELP!!!
