I saw these images last night, and there is no doubt in my mind that the
two b&w images are more to my tastes than the four color images.  But,
as between the two, I lean more towards the artful feeling of Joe
Ramsey's image of this area....the mist is wonderful, and the shadows
are not as harsh as the bright sun infrared version by Ed Ellison.

As far as this infrared version of the Yosemite Valley being better than
Ansel Adam's view of this landscape.....I have to cast a dissenting
opinion.  But that's what makes a horse race.....and I do like the
infrared, as mentioned above, better than the color renditions shown on
page 87.
