A few new pictures on my page

I'm currently uploading a few new pictures to my web page, taken
on a recent trip to Pullman, Washington. The rolling hills of
the Palouse are covered with stubble from recent harvests, and
where it's been tilled back in there's excellent contrast between
the bare soil and remaining rows of dried vegetation. The new
pictures are from the first of two rolls of Konica 750; the
second roll is currently hanging up to dry.
Totally unrealted, but I've had a good time this weekend playing
with a large-format inkjet plotter and drafting vellum -- images
can be plotted at something just over 100dpi resolution, so a
2400dpi scan of a 35mm negative makes a very nice 24x36 inch
print that can be hung backlit in a window, with the diffuse
light coming through the vellum accentuating the halation of HIE.
Not nearly the sort of photo quality output you'd get from a
service bureau, of course, but my father is an architect and his
plotter is now on my home network :-)
