Dear George, 

You and a few others have suggested that the pinhole problem is due to 
dust, liquid spotting or some acidic reaction after development. While 
these marks may occur, they are gross and easily identified with a 
loupe. 

Kodak has done a microscopic analysis of cross sections my film and 
concluded it is a manufacturing defect.
