Red enhancement

So is that means they are not effective for infrared photography? A friend
has a driver's glasses which significantly enhance the reddishness in the
appearence. I am not sure but same can happen for green also. As with the
standart polarizers which are not effective in the infrared region, I
understand red enhancer are also not effective.
