hello,
I'm sorry i don't have time to explore your site more right now but i
have bookmarked it.  what i have seen i like and find as foreign as
infrared itself.  you see, i have never done infrared with film but have
currently been exploring it with the digital camera doing landscapes.

my equipment:
Linhoff TK23 viewcamera with four lenses
Phaseone digital scanback
Apple laptop computer
87c Kodak filter (you make me want to explore)
Phaseone battery pack
Phaseone solar panel
Lowe Pro backpack
Lunch

What is  probably of most interest is that i can preview on the computer
exactly what the infrared "zones" are and make all adjustments before i
make the shot.  Everything fits into a backpack weighing 42 lbs and
allows complete mobility.
The final prints can be as large as 56x56 inches at 300 dpi - a 150 mb
file.
