Split Toning

Sometime during the past year we discussed using Ilford MG Warmtone for 
IR printing which has worked well for me.  During the discussion the question 
of split toning came up.  The same issue of Photo Techniques with George 
Smyth's article on HSI has one on printing with Ilford Warmtone by Howard 
Bond.  He states that this paper will split tone by using strong solutions of 
selenium (e.g. 1:4) and pulling the print while still split (2 1/2 minutes).  He 
even has an illustration of a step tablet split toned.
