Auto focus lenses for IR?

I've been shooting all my HIE through manual focus Olympus clones
(Tokina, Sakkar).  I've been noticing the increasing difficulty
finding manual focus lenses these days.  I asked the sales droid
if any of the autofocus lenses could compensate for IR focusing,
and he said, "yeah, some of them."  But I don't think he knew
what he was talking about.

Does anyone know if this is true?  Can any of the new AF lenses
from any of the major camera manufacturers compensate for IR
focusing?
