Hi Brad
I have a Sony DSC F1 and it records IR through a Hoya R72 Infrared filter ok
trees and grass come out snowy on it.
I also have a Baxall CD9772 colour/mono cctv camera which has no IR cut
filter on the CCD It works fine with the R72 filter and gives good results.
used in normal daylight it gives anomalous colour rendition and under
tungsten lights it distorts colours extreamly. A young lady friend who has
flame red hair comes out as pure white on screen under tungsten lights, she
was not happy with the effect, and that was without the filter.
Compared with other CCD cameras I have, the filter on the CCD of the baxall
is clear whereas the others (colour ccd's) have a blueish tint to them.
You have got me thinking now.... where is my scalpel???

cheers, Al.
