Ever heard of Sakkar lenses?

I have been given a Sakkar 28-70mm zoom lens.  It seems to be
pretty nice, but I've never heard of them, and I can't find
anything about them  on the web.  Has anyone ever heard of
them?  I was hoping to get a Tokina MF SZX lens for Christmas,
but I received the Sakkar instead.  It seems to take nice 
sharp photos (but in IR, who can tell?), but I'd like to find
out some more comparison information.
