Has anyone used a Contax G2 for Kodak B&W Pictures

I remember reading that the G2 would fog the end picture and near the
sprocket holes, am I remembering right? Has anyone used the G2.  I am
about to buy a filter to try this out. I will probably buy a red filter
(I could use it with regular Black and White) if no one responds.
Because it is a rangefinder I could get around some of the opaque filter
problems if it would work.
