Jim posts, on Konica IR & Ruby Windows ...
older TLR. The first thing I have some worries about is... To get the
film loaded in the camera correctly you need to look through a red
window in the bottom of the camera. I can slide a cover over the window,
but will the Ir comming throught this window fog some of the pictures?
Does anyone have experience with this type of camera?
The reason I am asking instead of just shooting to test is that I will
have to find and buy a filter and filter holder for this type of camera
first
The Konica has a backing paper lyer. I have shot it in my
Voigtlander Bessa II, also w/ the ruby window, w/ no problems.
You may want to cover the window w/ a layer or two of electrical
tape when not moving the film (mine has a baffle plate).
also; if you have a red filter considerably larger than the
lens front ; just hold it up against the lens while camera
is on tripod. just keep the fingers under control :)
