Jim, you asked about filtration for EIR film. The no. 16 orange gives me what
I feel are the best results. The sky will record dark blue, sometimes black
while foliage appears reddish , sometimes more magenta in tone. Without a
colored filter, using only a polarizer, folige and skies will record in
magenta tones. A green filter will produce black skies and deep magenta
foliage. Use a polarizer with any color filter to reduce glare and saturate
colors for the best results with EIR. Further info is available on EIR film in
