Unfortunately, it's (probably) done in Adobe After Effects or some other
digital filter. It's sort of like Photoshop for film. A mate of mine works
with it - he can make the most amazing effects, takes a long time but wow!
[though I must admit I haven't seen the commercial and may be _waaaay_ out
of bounds here]
All I know is that if something looks "too true" yet there are major flaws,
I smell some digital rehash prog and major filtration on-screen...
