Just for the record George, you were right. I tried to print a few last
night and the negs gave me a lot of trouble. The highlights were a
little blown out, but the most obvious problem was that anything that
was dark grey printed black as could be. Detail that I should have had
in a photo of a beach house(situated in the shade) was gone - I had to
dodge it just to get it to print as anything but a black clump.
Important - and foolish - lesson learned......
