Spots on HIE

Hi Infrareders,

I am not sure how many of you have similiar problems, but I have white spots
on my negatives. They happen to occur in randomly. I understand that
bracketing at the same time is a verification of getting the negative one
one way or another, since spots can ruin any time. I generally leave the
film 1-2 mins in plane water and then pour the developer. HIE is not the
only B&W film, but it happens to happen only on HIE. The last event forced
me to write this mail.

I generraly use bulk HIE. The very last one from the last bulk and the very
first one from the new bulk have been developed together. The result was so
that the old one has no problems, but the new one has spots. I always have
problem with fogging due to reloading the same catridges. It may be less to
none if I can load it in complete darkness. In this case I was not able to
load in complete darkness so that I lose the very first 5-7 frames. There
has been spots very near holes which is out of 24x36mm.

Waht are your suggestions?

Best regards,

İbrahim
