Thanks Ray and others who have responded to the D76 dev. times question,

That's the sort of info. I wanted to act as a guide to experimentation. As
soon as that used water softner machine turns up in the local papers then
the darkroom will be complete and ready for HSI action :-)

By the way, heard some rather depressing and hopefully innacurate news for
anyone using B/W film this morning on the BBC Radio4 news programme from
Eamon McCabe - picture editor of the Guardian broad sheet newspaper. We
all know that the newspapers closed down their darkrooms some time ago and
have moved to digital - Eamon told us this morning that the intention of
the major film producers is to gradually cease manufacturing B/W film as
there is not enough demand.......

Anyone have their feelers into the large film producers eg Kodak and Fuji?
I have a feeling that there is an adequate demand for B/W film, however
have noticed recently that Jessops (largest UK high street photo shop
chain) have reduced drastically their range of B/W chemicals and papers.
Also there is a lot of used darkroom equipment being offered for sale at
low prices (for the UK anyway!).
