You may wish to read "Rethinking Infrared Photography - Dispelling Myths by
George L Smyth", on my Web page. The confusion is due to an inadequate
understanding of infrared film, and a partial understanding of thermography.
Additionally, Kodak's Technical Data Sheet P-570 (March 1977) will assist.
