Petersen's Photographic article

There is an IR article in the latest (July) issue of Petersen's
Photographic magazine. It is quite short, only about 2 pages, and
deals exclusively with B&W IR photography. Unfortunately, they make
the statement that IR film picks up the heat which is emitted from
living things (like people and plants, and not the sky), which is why
IR photographs look different from the way the eye sees them. Not
only is this statement made in the text of the article, but it is
quoted out as a "highlight" in large type.

Other than that, the article seemed pretty inocuous; too tame for my
tastes. I guess since it shows examples of prints then it might turn
on novices.
