Shooting fireworks with HIE

Since the 4th of July is almost here, I was wondering if anyone has tried
shooting fireworks in infrared? Either color or b&w. I'm planning to bring
my tripod and blub trigger to the annual fireworks show, so long exposures
won't be a problem. Any suggestions on film speed, f-stop, exposure time,
or filters?
