Hi
This is my first :) day in this forum. I`ll send a Bio soon. This is how
I expose HIE and get nice results. I use a Canon AE1 and usually a 24 2.8 or
a 50 1.4. MY opaques are Hoya RM90 and 2 Cokin P size I got from some one
that purchased them from W. J. Markerink. I rate the HIE @ 200 F8 and 1/60
or 1/30,depending on how bright the scene is.. I sometimes braket and
usually get good printable negs. I devolop in Xtol stock mix for 9 .5 min.
and fix for about 4 in Ilford Rapid Fix. This is what woeks for me . I`ve
tried alot of different suggestions also, and read alot of books and comments.
I also shoot @ 200ISO F8, F11 @125 /60/30 with the REd 25A accordind to how
I judge the light to be. I look foward to this interaction with HIE shooters
and hope to be able to show some of my prints soon. Thomas Horan
