Lets see, you were metering through the filter on both occasions. Therefore
your EI for the 87C is way too low. EI 12 is for metering *without* a
filter. Metering through the filter will probably need an EI around 1000 to
2000, you will have to do trials to find out the exact number. Give it
another try!
