Filters don't have much to do with a lack of sharpness or haze, unless
that's part of their function.

If you're not happy with a film, the initial cost of it shouldn't change
your mind.  If you like Kodak and not Konica, then stay with Kodak.  You'll
only waste time trying to achieve something that the film can't deliver.
