I wouldn't worry too much about it. I have found that most students of
photography take digital images with a grain of salt, but have a never ending
fascination with traditional IR. photography.
Just look at the economics:
Digitally "faked" IR costs about $2000 minimum to buy the computer and
software alone, not to mention the camera and conventional film.
Conventional IR?
35mm manual camera- $175.00 used in good condition
25 wratten filter-$15.00 new
One roll Kodak HIE, $10.00 for 36 images.
Chemicals, maybe another $30.00
And now you can print it or scan it anyway you like!
