Hi,
The problem is almost certainly a pressure plate mounting screw
casting a reflective shadow, this will only show when it coincides with
kind-of mid tones in the image, white or black areas - it won't show.
Quick fix it - use 120 film! 220 only has backing paper at the
beginning and end of the roll. 120 has backing paper along the whole
length as you will already know.
