Yep,

The original FAQ written by Caroline Knight here in Bristol, England is
accessible via the URL in the IR Mailing List sig. file. Please feel free
to continue using it.

My effort is an attempt to bring things up to date as the original FAQ has
not been changed for several years.  If people find it useful then all well
and good.

Caroline used to work about half a mile from my office here - although I
have not met her we have mutual friends.  I hope that she approves of the
update.
