All late model EOS lenses have this IR-LED counter (with the
exception of 1(n), but not 3!), but it's effect on the final image if
far far less than even Canon wants you to believe....it will only fog
the sprocket holes, and will bleed slightly into the image area
itself....nothing that a minor crop couldn't cure.
