I've just talked to a friendly and competent lady on the phone.
Sadly they have no data sheets but she gave me the following additional
information:
- Agfa's film is only produced from time to time based on demand.
This may cause problems regarding availability and quality
(similar to Konica's film).
- Kodak's TSF is a new emulsion. The different product codes (SP401 and
SP404) denote different packaging (on spool or on kernel). The film is
always the same.
- Kodak's RAR is an older emulsion that is inferior to TSF.
- Ilford's SP 816 T has a polyester base (probably as the difference
to SFX 200).
Their printed catalog includes some additional confections.
For example TSF as a 135-36 cartridge for DM 8.50 (single
quantity). Time for some tests, eh? ;-)
Another remark: They are still selling HIE. It was dropped from
their printed catalog due to an error. Here's the ordering info
for it and SFX:
Warengruppe #19 S/WKleinbildfilme

ILF3210 Ilford SFX 135-36 200 ASA 001 6,76
