- Personal history of photography: While studying heat transfer in
engineering school a professor asked me if photography could be used to
quantify solar energy.  Reasoning that by mapping the sun's energy in the
sky it might be possible to design better solar collectors.  I soon learned
about characteristic curves, reciprocity failure, and development variations
and concluded it might be possible but it would be very difficult.
Otherwise photography is a fairly traditional hobby.  I recently taught a
workshop on infrared photography for photography students in an adult
education program.

- Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry): HIE, SFX 200, #89B, Ilford
Multigrade, Xtol

- Format (35mm/medium format/large format): 35mm

Does anybody use SFX200 with Xtol?  I can seem to find development
recommendations.
