b + w / opaque to even more opaque ?

And why does everyone talk about 87 filters being opaque, when 
they have a range that goes up to 092 /  093 ?

unless 092 & 093 are supposed to be more cutting. Bu what could 
possibly be the use of cutting down an already narrow near infrared 
band ?
