Well,
I got back from Las Vegas last Friday. No big jackpots, but I expected that.
I did however come back with 2 rolls of HIE. I was still a little worried
about the X-Ray machines, so on the way back I stuck the rolls in my pocket.
I set the metal detector off and had to hand over my film. The inspector
opened one roll before I could say anything, but she was nice enough not to
open the other. I thought for sure the roll was fogged, but it didn't hurt
it a bit. I'm guessing because it was under fluorescent lights.
I have always had problems with my HIE overexposing when I rate it at
200ASA, so I shot almost everything at 400ASA and bracketed. I develop in
D-76 straight @ room temperature and followed the "Massive Dev. Chart" for
times. My negs came out much better. I shot a few images at night and was
happy with the results.
I scanned a few of my images in, so if anyone is interested in seeing
them follow this URL: http://members.tripod.com/Zman26/LV/
(please excuse the Tripod popup ad)
A lot of my details in my shadows were lost due to our bad print scanner.

Let me know what you guys think.

thanks for the tips!
