try a gn of 400 and see what happens. you might also want to set up a test at a GN of 100, 200 and 400, record aperatures and distance to subject. have somebody hold a card or something. you can calculate it pretty quick once the film is processed.

ive just made myself an IR flash by taping a wratten IR filter to a flash.
im about to try it out on a roll of film, just varying subject distances
and apertures, but i thought i'd ask if anyone had an idea of approximate
settings to experiment with bracketing around. i've checked the obvious
web pages, but didnt find anything on this. for reference, my flash says
for 100 ASA film, user aperture 4 at 12ft, 5.6 at 8ft, 8 at 6ft. im using
kodak HIE.
