Fogging Experiment (accident)

I did this experiment not completly on purpose, but...

I forgot my changing bag when taking some infrared pictures over the
weekend. I had loaded it in total darkness, but I was in the middle of the
desert and wanted to continue shooting with normal black and white. I got
in the shade and covered as much as possible, and quickly unloaded the film
and put it in its canister. (probably about 1 second of light). There is
some limited fogging on ever other frame for the first 8 frames, each
getting less obvious. Its about an 1/8th of an inch fogged verticle line
across the frame. Not to bad, except it ruined one great picture. My point
is that you wont have a whole roll of ruined film if you have to try
switching film in bright light. Hope this helps someone, maybe I was just
lukcy though.
