Re: Nikon FM2 and HIE
Hi,
I'm using HIE exclusively with my FM2. It's the perfect camera for
IR-shooting, because everything goes manually . No focus or leader-in
problems. I'm usually using TTL-metering with a meter-setting of 320 ASA and
a #29 red-filter on the lens (#25 red-filter / 200 ASA setting is OK works
for me as well).
Development is done now with XTOL (1:1, 20°C, 12'). Grain is very fine, but
less well defined. Before I used ID11 (stock, 20°C, 12') and the results
were granier, but the grain looked better. Times are for a JOBO 1510 drum
with 250ml
solution and manual invertion.
best regards
