I've used both the plastic Paterson tanks and Kindermann Stainless tanks -
with stainless and plastic lids (and reels). I always develop in full light
and have never had a fogging problem.

Just as a note too - I found the plastic Paterson reels to be easier to
spool up the HIE on then the stainless Kindermann reels. The thin material
of HIE always gave me more problems to load versus the heavier stock of
standard B&W films.  I did find the note a few months ago to be true - you
must insure that the small ball bearings in the front of the reels do not
get corroded or else all easy load bets are off!
