questions about fogging on ir from some cameras

hi all,
i was talking ir photography with a friend of mine at college today. i had
brought up that i was interested in taking ir pics but was somewhat leary
about the fogging problems that my eos rebel would cause, even though i have
heard from some of you all on here that it isnt that big of a deal. anyway,
i guy overheard me and jumped in and told me that if you wipe some photo-flo
over the counter in the back it works perfectly and its as good as gold. i
thought this was extremely interesting.
if anyone has tried this and it worked let me know or if youd be willing to
try it out for those of you who have similiar problems with their camaras.
ill also go talk to the professor who teaches photo II class and ask him
more questions.
i would love to hear any disscussions about this or any comments if anyone
has tried it.
