Infrared FAQ Update

Dear All,

In an effort to reduce the amount of work involved maintaining the Infrared
FAQ, I have recently implemented some electronic assistance on the CoCam
website :-)

If you would like to be notified when there is a significant change to the
FAQ then please sign up for the "What's New!" service accessible from the
CoCam home page at http://www.cocam.co.uk.  This is a fairly simple process
- enter your EMail address and click the subscribe button :-)  To
unsubscribe simply enter your EMail address and click unsubsribe. Your
EMail addresses will not be given to any third party and they are stored in
a secure area on the server.

The service will send you messages such as those below.  You will also
receive information about other changes on the site, however as the largest
section is the FAQ then these will be low volume.

Infrared FAQ WWW Links Submissions

There is now a semi-automated process in operation for adding your infrared
links to the Infrared FAQ.  A reciprocal link is requested from your web
site. An EMail confirmation is sent out and new links  added within
approximately 14 days.

If you have already submitted your web site, please check the listing to
make sure it is there.  If your site is listed without a description then
please use the submission form to add one.  The links section will be
reorganised again shortly and those sites without a description will
probably suffer :-)

The link to the submission form is at the top of the Infrared WWW Links
section in the Infrared FAQ.

The world wide web links section on the Infrared FAQ page has been updated.
Work is still in progress. Please check your link if it is there and let me
know of any changes you would like made to the site description.
