No, not at all - most of us probably take very much for
granted how quickly we can load a roll of film for
processing. Or, how to process the film through the
chemistry to get a desired result.
But, it was a talent none were born with - we were all in
your shoes at one point in time.
Once the starting point is found, all else will eventually
fall into place - with time and effort on your part to learn
the terminology, for the equipment involved, and the
different film products on the market.
While nearly anything can be learned out of a book, and with
enough trial and error...
...Is there ANY photography instruction available in your
area?
Even someone with a home darkroom, with enough time to
introduce you to the equipment, the chemistry, and the
processing techniques. Maybe you can ask around - a local
school, or college, etc.
It certainly will shorten an otherwise long learning curve
to have someone walk you through things the first couple
times.
Learning how to *read* a film image, or a good print takes a
little practice and skill.

If no near-by help can be found, then those of us *here* can
surely lend you a hand.
We'll all just have to learn to be patient, and take things
one step at a time.
